Cesar Pastrana, 25, is in custody at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center according to authorities on Monday. Cesar was charged with aggravated child molestation, child molestation and sexual battery.

Cobb County Police Department, Cobb County Police Department

A youth group lock-in, also known as “THRIVE,” was held Feb 3 and 4 by Kennesaw’s Northstar Church at a private Cobb residence.

Pastrana is accused of molesting two of the attendees. However, authorities aren’t convinced this is the end of it.

We’re not limiting the scope of our investigation to just churches,” Pierce told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “We’re also asking about schools and anything he volunteered to do.” (AJC, Brooks)

The truth is, sexual misconduct allegations (true and false) are on the rise. Even if your organization’s members are 100% innocent, misconduct allegations require legal defense. And, legal defense is costly!

Sexual misconduct coverage protects your organization and its members, directors, officers, employees and/or volunteers up to the policy limits with potential expense that may include necessary legal expenses. Even if your organization is not specifically aware of the alleged incident, your Non-Profit can still be held liable in the court of law.

Sexual Misconduct Allegations are one of the most serious financial exposures that your organization faces today. As your Georgia NonProfit problem solvers, we urge you to protect your organization and mission with the right coverage at the best price.

Atlanta’s world-class medical facilities attract visitors from across the country. In today’s economy, medical expenses and frequent hospital visits can be financially draining for families. Not to mention, the emotional strain of caring for a sick loved one in a foreign city can be extremely overwhelming.

The Gillman Insurance Problem Solvers are proud to support Atlanta Hospital Hospitality House (AHHH) in its mission to provide a “home away from home” for outpatients and loved ones from 21 local Atlanta hospitals. As the AHHH is a Non-Profit client of the Georgia insurance agency, the Georgia NonProfit Insurance Problem Solvers are delighted to prepare dinner and dessert for the AHHH guests this holiday.

“It’s an honor for us to volunteer with our families at Atlanta Hospital Hospitality House,” says agency founder Ed Gillman, AAI. “It’s our mission to provide our commercial clients, including over 150 Non-Profits, with insurance solutions and community support. Giving back to our Non-Profit clients is also very rewarding on a personal level, particularly during the holidays.”

Guests at the AHHH are provided with a comfortable place to stay, prepared meals and a supportive environment so that they can focus on getting better. In 2010, the ATLHHH served more than 5,000 accommodations.

In addition to spreading holiday cheer at the AHHH dinner, the Georgia NonProfit Insurance Problem Solvers purchased an angel for the establishment’s Angel Tree Fundraiser, which will help support the ATLHHH’s mission. Georgia NonProfit Insurance knows that the holidays are supposed to be a time of joy and celebration, but the holidays can be a difficult time for families with loved ones who are going through medical treatment far from home. Whether they are writing Atlanta insurance policies or simply lending a helping hand, the team at Gillman is committed to bettering its community and the lives of its neighbors.
